FRANK Water is a Bristol based charity that supports life changing water and sanitation projects in both India and Nepal.

In India, 77 million people live without safe water, and 770 million without safe sanitation.

This has devastating consequences, especially for young children, women and girls.

We work together with carefully selected local partners to reach the most marginalised people living in rural, tribal areas and urban slums. Working with the community every step of the way, we help them to develop holistic, inclusive and sustainable solutions. Since, 2005, we have reached over 359,700 people.

If people have access to a safe water supply and toilet their lives can be transformed:

Better health: 140,000 children die every year in India from waterborne diseases. These deaths could easily be prevented through improved access to water and sanitation.

Improved education: When children fall sick, they miss school and fall behind. 443 million school days are lost each year in India from water-related diseases.

Resilient communities: By tackling water and sanitation, communities are motivated to overcome other problems together.

By signing up to the 2018 Bath Half Marathon for FRANK Water you will help enable us to continue the vital work that we do. The average cost to do this is just £12.75, so if you sign up to one of our places and raise £250 in sponsorship you will be helping change the lives of 19 people by helping bring them safe, clean water and sanitation for life.

So, come and join the FRANK Water team and you will get your very own water bottle, t-shirt and fundraising pack and plenty of support along the way. To get your place on the FRANK team please contact Amanda on 0117 329 4846 or email amanda@frankwater.com
