The TRC has four projects that have each been started to complement each other with the sole purpose of bringing positive, hopeful, and strategic intervention to families who are struggling having experienced trauma.

The TRC Therapy Centre provides subsidised play, art and creative therapy for children and young people and their carers to help them process their traumatic experiences so that their trauma symptoms are reduced in their daily lives. Oakside Creative Education Centre provides a part time educational programme for children who are not engaging with mainstream education or who are experiencing significant and consistent difficulties in mainstream school. Our facilities, which include sitting rooms, play rooms, a class room, music room, an art studio and 22 acres of woods, provide the perfect place to help these children learn in a therapeutic environment.

The Treehouse Project is our specialist provision for children and young people and their carers who have been rescued from human trafficking to provide therapeutic aftercare and mentoring. The TRC Training Centre underpins the three projects to ensure a constant provision of excellent training for all our teams and other professionals in trauma recovery in the UK.
