“Sometimes there’s a hush when something magical is about to happen – just a little gesture or movement – the world stops” Zone Club; our monthly club providing safe, creative sessions for disabled young adults who are amongst the most socially excluded within our community. Just one of the many activities we run at Wiltshire Music Centre every year.

Wiltshire Music Centre is a local charity rooted in community participation. Every year we welcome over 60,000 people to hear international quality live concerts and take part in music-making and music education.

We provide a permanent home for local orchestras, choirs and music therapy groups, and work extensively with schools and special needs groups through educational outreach. Over 800 young musicians rehearse here weekly. In 2013/14 we hosted 27 music participatory events for young people, and in 2015 we are taking over the running of two youth orchestras.

Every year we have to fundraise around £200,000 to keep the Centre open for all and deliver all of our activities. Sometimes it is much more.
