Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children.

Domestic abuse can affect anyone.  It’s not just physical violence – it often involves bullying, controlling, coercive behaviour, and sexual and financial abuse.

Domestic abuse has long-lasting effects on those who experience it.  In England and Wales on average two women are killed each week by their partner or ex-partner.

Our work is life-saving. We help hundreds of thousands of women and children each year escape and recover from abuse.

Our campaigns achieve change in policy, practice and awareness. Our training and educational projects encourage healthy relationships. We are helping to build a future where domestic abuse is no longer tolerated

So re-unite with your running shoes, and join #teamwomensaid, for the 4.6million women who have experienced domestic abuse, your support is life changing.

“The Bath Half has always been something I’ve wanted to do but nothing has made me want to run it as much as this charity (and also a very persuasive friend). To raise awareness and money for a charity that saved my friend.” – #eamwomensaid runner from last year’s Bath Half

If you would like to secure one of our GUARANTEED places you will need to commit to raising a minimum of £300 in sponsorship. Don’t worry, we will support you every step of the way! In return we will provide you with:

“I loved running for Women’s Aid. It was great to support a charity that would truly appreciate every penny raised. I’m passionate about women being able to truly flourish and not having to live in fear. So I’d encourage anyone who feels the same to consider raising money for this vital cause.”
