2018 VIP Entries

2018 VIP half marathon entries will open shortly

We offer a limited amount of VIP entries including reserved half marathon entry, on-site parking and hospitality at Bath Cricket Club on North Parade Road, 1 minutes walk from the Runners Village.  These places are strictly first-come-first-served and have sold out quickly each year

A VIP entry includes :

  • One reserved Bath Half Marathon entry
  • Use of the Cricket Club clubhouse for yourself and up to 2 non-running guests
  • Pre-paid parking space in reserved section next to the clubhouse (access to the Bath Cricket Club car park is not affected by the event road closures)
  • Changing and baggage storage for VIP runners (ticketed and stored in a secure/stewarded room)
  • Coffee/tea/biscuits/bottled water, as well as pastries, preserves and breakfast baps upon arrival
  • Snacks and drinks for guests during the race
  • Use of the other clubhouse facilities by VIP runners e.g. toilets and showers
  • A selection of hot pasties and rolls for competitors and guests from 1pm to 3.30pm


VIP Entries – Race Day Instructions

VIP hospitality is at Bath Cricket Club, North Parade Road BA2 4EX one minutes walk from the Runners Village

  • Hospitality opens at 8.30am
  • Entrants will be emailed their named parking passes, you will be directed to the reserved clubhouse parking on arrival and invited to sign in with your guests on arrival at the cricket club – please bring your confirmation email with you
  • The post-race hot buffet is available from 1pm -3.30pm
  • The clubhouse and reserved parking will close at 4.00pm. You are most welcome to stay on after this time & enjoy facilities in the city centre, but please note that after this time normal pay and display conditions will apply in the car park
  • Please note : The changing, baggage store and shower facilities are only for use by the registered VIP entrant, not guests

We recommend you plan to arrive at least 90mins before race start (11.00am) to relax, get changed, leave your baggage in the clubhouse, and stroll over to the Village in good time to soak up the atmosphere before the start pens open at 10.00am.

Access to the cricket club is unrestricted until the course route closures are introduced at 9.45am.  The closures will be lifted in sequence as runners clear each section of road, with the last closure on Pulteney Road being re-opened at about 2.30pm, depending on the runners’ progress. Whilst the closures are in place access to the Bath Cricket Club will be from the west end of North Parade Road, from Terrace Walk or Manvers Street following the signposted ‘City Centre’ diversion route via Walcot Street and the ‘bus gate’.
