Bath Half 2015 Entrants' Newsletter - August 2014

Welcome to the second edition of the Bath Half entrants’ newsletter,

Our regular newsletters for registered entrants contain news and information to help you prepare for the race, and important information about race day.

Entries for the 2015 Bath Half are still available – although we expect that they will be sold out earlier this year. If you have friends or family thinking about taking on the Bath Half then do encourage them to sign up quickly

We’re hope you’ve had a great summer -and the fantastic sunny weather we’ve had. The weather has made summer running a little bit hot and sticky but as I passed a runner clocking up some miles on a pretty warm day earlier this week, I remembered the cold and very wet conditions that our runners trained through last winter and suddenly the warm weather didn’t seem too bad for a run after all!

All the best,

Andrew Taylor
Race Director

Entries are still available for the Bath Half's new 'sister' event

Usually the Bath Half team have a little bit of time over the summer to take a breath before the autumn arrives and the organisation and build up to race day start all over again. This year is a little different for us as we’re ticking off the weeks and the to do list in the run up to the Bath Half’s new sister event – the Oxford Half Marathon – which takes place on October 12th. We still have some entries for the race – so if you’re looking for an autumn event then you can sign up at the Oxford Half website
