2022 Venue and route changes revealed

This year the Runners Village is moving to a new home in Royal Victoria Park, the premiere outdoor event space in Bath.

Royal Victoria Park is home to a host of larger public events including the Cancer Research UK Race for Life and Pub in the Park.

The iconic Bath Half route is retained, but reconfigured: starting in Queen Square in the heart of the Georgian city and finishing in Royal Victoria Park.

From Queen Square the route runs down Green Park to Churchill Bridge, then left up Rossiter Road, up Pulteney Road, along Great Pulteney Street, round the fountain in Laura Place, back down Pulteney Road to Churchill Bridge. From here we run 2 laps out along the Lower Bristol Road and returning back on Newbridge Road and Upper Bristol Road before finishing in Royal Victoria Park.

Why are we moving?

We needed a larger venue to accommodate all our charity partners, and Royal Victoria Park also helps us reduce runner congestion using wave starts.

Further details will be published closer to the event date.

We will also shortly be launching a new BATHALF EVENT APP  with race day plans and details.
