Entry to the Corporate Challenge is open to employees, proprietors, families and guests of any UK registered business or corporation (including government departments and HM forces).
Corporate Challenge entrants compete as individual runners in the half marathon alongside the general public and charity entrants, whilst also representing their business team.
Each team is required to nominate a Team Manager to act as representative and point of contact for the Company, and to receive email and postal communications from Running High Events Ltd in respect of your Corporate Challenge team for the 2024 Bath Half, and to forward registration details to team members to facilitate the registration of their race entries (until such time as an alternative representative has agreed to act in your stead on the same terms).
The Team Manager is required to complete an application for a team, including details of the number of reserved race entries required – minimum of 5 entries. Additional entries can be purchased at a later date – providing entries have not sold out.
On receipt of the Team Manager’s application the race organiser will forward an invoice to the Company. Reservation of team entries will not be confirmed until receipt of payment of fees. Registration instructions for team entries will then be sent to the Team Manager by email for circulation to team members to register their individual race entries.
All race entries must be registered on or before the closing date on 7th March 2024 – no refund of entry fees will be payable in respect of race entries which are not registered before this date.
Corporate Challenge entrants are not required to fund raise for charity, but we are delighted that so many of you choose to do so and would be grateful if you could provide us with details of your fundraising after the event.
Entries are personal to the registrant and cannot be transferred.
Minimum age 17 years on race date.
The winning first Men’s Team and first Women’s Team will each receive a unique Bath Half Trophy. Each scoring team comprises the fastest 5 members identified on the day by the results computer, calculated by lowest aggregate finishing place, in two categories – male and female. There is no limit to the number of non-scoring team members – subject to entries being available.
Corporate Challenge entrants are also eligible to score in the open prize categories. Affiliated athletic club members are also eligible to score for their club teams.
Corporate Challenge entry conditions are supplemental to the Bath Half Marathon terms and conditions of entry, Race Rules and UK Athletics Rules of Competition
