The Bath Half attracts around 14,000 runners each year plus a similar number of spectators attending the assembly area. The majority of runners and spectators gather at the Runners Village (on Bath Recreation Ground), where the catering units will be situated. This is where the runners disperse from and return to, before the start and after the finish of both the half marathon (13,000 participants) and the Family Fun Run (1,000 participants). The start and finish line is adjacent in Great Pulteney Street

We offer a maximum of 8 pitches for caterers to provide a mix of different foods and drinks for runners and spectators attending the event. Pitch sizes are approx 6m wide x 3m deep, with parking space for an additional vehicle (which may not be adjacent to the pitch)

Preference will be given to caterers providing quality and healthy food (no chips are allowed) popular with competitors, who are local to the Bath area, who serve Fair Trade certified products, and/or who can demonstrate a robust sustainability policy

The half marathon starts at 11am, and the Family Fun Run at 11.20am

This year’s event is on Sunday 15th March, and will be open to the public from 8.30am to 3.30pm (peak periods 9.00-10.30am and 12.30-2.00pm) (weather dependent), but we will have staff and contractors working on site from 5.30am to 5.30pm, if you wish to open longer for their demand
