Doing it for Dan

We would love you to be a part of Team Dan in the Bath Half Marathon and if you choose to run for us, we’ll support you all the way.

Doing it for Dan was set up in memory of 11-year-old Daniel Climance. Daniel loved all kinds of sport and was at his happiest when playing sport and so in his memory his parents wanted to help other children achieve their sporting dreams.

We aim to give young people in Wiltshire and its neighbouring counties greater opportunities to participate in sporting activities by helping to remove the financial barriers that some children face to taking part in sport. We believe that every child deserves the right to access sport and fulfil their sporting potential.

We provide financial grants for sports equipment, kit, club memberships and competition fees.

Our charity places are £20 plus a pledge to raise a minimum of £200
