THE BATH HALF MARATHON FUND
The Bath Half Marathon Fund was established in 2003 to distribute grants to smaller local charities and voluntary groups within Bath and North East Somerset using funds generated from optional donations generously made by runners at point of entry to each year’s race. The simple expedient of adding a box for optional donations on our entry forms has touched runners’ imaginations and generated significant funds for local good causes
Runners’ donations are distributed via the Quartet Community Foundation through grants for sports, active lifestyle and play-based projects targeting disadvantage or rural isolation within the Bath and North East Somerset area
