Join the Rethink Mental Illness 2018 Bath Half Marathon team and do something to help people severely affected by mental illness.

Mental Illness affects 1 in 4 people and is something that can devastate lives.

Rethink Mental Illness is there for people that are severely affected by mental illness, helping them to live a better life. We do this in a number of different ways, including but not limited to…

Providing a huge range of services  including floating support, crisis accommodation, advocacy and carers support across England. We also support 130 local volunteer run support groups for people affected by mental illness. Our Advice and Information Service and emotional support helplines provide support to millions.

We campaign for policy change and to reduce the stigma and discrimination around mental illness. We run the national campaign Time to Change with Mind. Since its launch in 2007, it has improved 3.5 million peoples’ attitudes to mental health.

Innovation projects help us to find new ways to help people severely affected by mental illness.

Ensuring everything we do has input from our beneficiaries.

All our work is governed by people who have lived experience of mental illness and covers every county in England, giving us local insight and helping us spread innovations nationally. Our co-production and involvement expertise mean we model good practice in equipping people severely affected by mental illness and their carers to be leaders in their own care.

If you would like to help us make a difference by running in the Bath Half for us, just email us on [email protected] or call Jemima on 020 7840 3021, we can’t wait to have you on our team!
