Ripple Effect (formerly Send a Cow)

Many people believe poverty in Africa is inevitable. We don’t.

Your sponsorship could provide three families with lifesaving hygiene training and skills, as part of Ripple Effect’s response to coronavirus in rural Africa. Our training equips families with the knowledge and skills to: build a “tip tap” to help wash their hands safely, harvest rainwater to use during the dry months and how to build a simple clean latrine. And so that when this crisis is over, they will be in a strong and healthy position to build their own futures from the land.

Poverty breaks things: families, friendships, dreams, self-esteem.

Every day families in rural Africa face poverty that is extreme, cruel and worst of all – unnecessary.

But rural Africa is rich with opportunity and where there is land, there is hope.
