Who do we fund?
Smaller local charities and voluntary groups within Bath & North East Somerset can apply for cash grants of up to £2,000 for sport, active lifestyle or play projects. The Bath Half Marathon Fund is managed through Quartet Community Foundation.
The lists below give you a flavour of the types of projects that have been funded recently. You can read more about some of our 2019 projects on our Grant Recipients page.
In 2019 we used Bath Half Runner donations to fund the following organisations' projects:

- St John’s Foundation
Funding for Lifestyle Change Project.
In 2018 Bath Half’s official local charity appeal was the Action Against Child Poverty Campaign. This campaign is coordinated by St John’s Foundation and funds the Lifestyle Change Project which is a a three-year targeted initiative being delivered in partnership by six local charities to address child poverty within Bath and North East Somerset.
The charities involved are Sporting Family Change, the Southside Project, Wansdyke Play Association, SWALLOW, Mentoring Plus and Off the Record.
