Sporting Family Challenge

Sporting Family Change works with some of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable families across Bath and North East Somerset.

One of Sporting Family Change’s core business areas is to provide activities which give families health opportunities through physical education (H.O.P.E). We use sport to empower, inspire, and motivate these families into making positive long-term lifestyle changes as well as building family resilience, helping them to reach their potential and move forward in their lives.

A grant of £500 has been awarded to purchase new gym equipment, to extend their existing range of sports kit. The new equipment will enable Sporting Family Change to be more mobile, so they can deliver gym style fitness sessions out in community settings close to where families live, as part of their H.O.P.E. Programme.
