First Steps is supporting Bath Half runners for the third consecutive year. We hope to raise over £5,000 in 2019, have lots of fun and boost our fundraising campaign to enable young children to access quality early years learning opportunities to build their health, wellbeing and learning.

To qualify for a charity place, you must commit to raise at least £175 for First Steps (Bath). The registration fee is £39.60, which is payable to secure the place.

Runners will get access to online fundraising support, a T-shirt or running vest, an invitation to tea at First Steps and we will be there to cheer you on, on the day! We also have a prize for the runner who gains the highest sponsorship for First Steps.

Why run for First Steps (Bath)?

First Steps is a local, community-based charity. Set up by local families for local families, we are able to respond to local need and support families to gain access to training and employment and become responsive and attuned parents. These are factors that enable children to get the very best start in their lives and avoid some of the issues that may hamper them in school. We work in some of the most disadvantaged areas in Bath and North East Somerset through our three services: First Steps Twerton, First Steps Moorlands and First Steps Bath Opportunity Preschool (BOP), a specialist provision for children with special needs.
