The Rotary Foundation celebrates its 100th year in 2017.

Rotary clubs from the district covering Bath will be turning out in force to help raise funds for The Rotary Foundation. By running in the event and cheering from the side they will be putting every effort into making this a bumper effort. If you are able to join them by becoming a charity fundraiser you will be amongst many friends and will be helping to swell the total funds raised.

Created in 1917 as an endowment fund for Rotary by the Rotarian Arch C Klumph ‘to do good in the world’ The Rotary Foundation has grown from an £18 contribution to a fund worth some £684m. It now has one of the largest and most prestigious humanitarian and educational programmes in the world.

It is a not-for-profit organisation whose funds are raised by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of The Rotary Foundation who share its vision of a better world. The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.
