About Women’s Aid Federation of England

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. As a federation of over 180 organisations, we provide nearly 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across the country.

Domestic abuse can affect anyone and has long-lasting effects on those who experience it.  Our work is life-saving. We help hundreds of thousands of women and children each year escape and recover from abuse.

Our campaigns achieve change in policy, practice and awareness. Our training and educational projects encourage healthy relationships and our range of online services help hundreds of thousands of women and children every year. We are helping to build a future where domestic abuse is no longer tolerated and we can only do it with your support.

So dig out your running shoes and join Team Women’s Aid! For the millions of women who have experienced domestic abuse, your support could be life changing.

“I loved running for Women’s Aid. It was great to support a charity that would truly appreciate every penny raised. I’m passionate about women being able to truly flourish and not having to live in fear. So I’d encourage anyone who feels the same to consider raising money for this vital cause.” – Team Women’s Aid runner
