Bath Half Refund Update - 19 April
We are pleased to confirm that we have now received funds from our insurers. All refunds were processed by our registration provider Primo Solutions at the end of last week, and refunds have started to be received by entrants.
We’ve never had to refund tens of thousands of entry fees before, or to make an insurance claim of this type. This is a totally new situation for us, and we’ve had to build new procedures to manage the refund process.
We can assure you that all refunds are in hand and remaining payments will be made shortly.
Our card payment processing company Stripe have now informed us that they require further time to clear the remaining refunds, so that although some runners have already received their refunds, the remaining refund payments will be completed on or before 11th May, which is later than we originally anticipated.

We apologise for the delay for some entrants, due to circumstances outside our control, and we appreciate your continuing patience and support.
In light of this news, we have decided to extend the period for ‘Early Bird’ entries until the 31st May, to allow runners awaiting refunds a further month to obtain the £5 discount when re-entering the 2019 race.
