| || Bishop Fleming's record-breaking corporate team ! |
Our title partners, leading professional services firm Bishop Fleming, have an extra reason to celebrate in their centenary year. Team BF100 will be the largest corporate team ever entered for the Bath Half !
Partner Andrew Sandiford said: ‘Engagement in the Bath Half by our own people has far exceeded our expectations – with over a hundred entrants, nearly a quarter of our workforce taking part from all our seven offices, plus many guests and clients. We are delighted to be bringing such a large team to the event for what promises to be an excellent day and a major activity in our year-long centenary programme’.
Team BF100 are aiming to raise £20,000 at the BATHALF, as part of their £100,000 centenary fundraising target.
Bishop Fleming will also be giving away £100 each to 20 lucky runners’ charities. Look for more details on social media closer to race day. More >
| || Bath College sponsors this year’s Family Fun Run |
We are delighted to welcome Bath College as sponsors of this year’s Family Fun Run.
College students and staff will also be providing massage services for runners, both on race day itself in the heart of the Runner’s Village, and from the Spa centre at their Bath campus before and after the race.
A team of volunteers from Bath College students have also worked in the goody bag area at the Bath Half Marathon for a number of years.
Laurel Penrose, Principal and CEO of Bath College said ‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the Bath Half Family Fun Run this year. We know what an important event this is to the Bath Community and as a college with our roots in the heart of the city, we feel this is a fantastic partnership’.
‘Also having our Sport, Complementary Therapy and Beauty students running the Marathon Massage Tent is a wonderful opportunity for them to gain more experience, whilst also showcasing their skills to the community.’
