Help us reduce child poverty by signing up for the Bath Half family fun run
If you are thinking about entering this year’s Bath Half Family Fun Run, we urge you sign up quickly, as entries are almost sold out and we only have a handful of places remaining. This year we have added an extra 200 entry spaces, which will make our 2018 race the biggest fun run that we’ve held to date.
The Family Fun run is open to all ages and abilities and takes place immediately after the start of the half marathon, starting and finishing under the main gantry in Great Pulteney Street. The Family Fun Run course is ¾ mile long and completely traffic free.
There is a free t-shirt for every entrant and a medal and goody bag for all finishers.
We would love to welcome you and your family back to the Family Fun Run in 2018.
All money raised from this year’s Bath Half Family Fun Run, taking place on Sunday 4 March, will support an important local campaign here in Bath, the Action Against Child Poverty.
Last year, after local authority statistics revealed that one in five children in Bath were living in poverty, a campaign was launched by St John’s Foundation and a coalition of local partners. The campaign aims to reduce child deprivation and poverty by 50% over the next four years.
We are very pleased to be able to support this campaign through our popular Bath Half Family Fun Run.
