Vitality Bath Half Newsletter - Photos are now live

We hope you enjoyed your Vitality BATH HALF run on Sunday.

Whether this was your first run in the City of Bath, or you’re one of our regular BATHALFERs, we would be grateful if you could give up 10 minutes of your time to complete our post-race survey. We welcome your feedback as to what you liked and what you think we could do better. Everyone who completes our survey will be entered into a prize draw for 10 pairs of Brooks trainers. Please click here for access to our runners’ survey.

In a first for the Vitality Bath Half Marathon, in conjunction with our media partners BBC Radio Bristol we introduced a Battle of the Bands competition this year, with local bands playing for your entertainment at six different locations around the course. Unfortunately, I didn’t get chance to sample the delights around the course myself, but I am told by many, including Russell Howard, that it was well received. I certainly hope so. This is your chance to thank our bands by voting for your favourite here.  The band that collects the most votes – one vote per half marathon participant – will receive a £500 cash prize and the opportunity to play on BBC Radio Bristol.

If you want to re-live your experiences on Sunday then we’ve lots of opportunities for you…

Our Official Race Photographer Marathon Photos had a small army of photographers at the start, finish and around the half marathon course, plus video cameras at the start, finish and 10km point. You can view and download your photos and videos through Marathon Photo’s website, by entering your race (bib) number or name.

Our commercial radio media partners  Heart Radio have also produced their own photo gallery which can be viewed here…. and don’t forget the 40-page Vitality Bath Half supplement in this week’s Bath Chronicle. It contains all the results and countless pictures from the race. The supplement is available today (Thursday 5th March) from all local newsagents and outlets within the Bath Chronicle circulation area.

We also have our own race video showing some of Sunday’s highlights on the BATHALF homepage.

With a record number of charity partners at this year’s race, over 100 charities in total, we are confident that last year’s record total of over £2 million pounds will be beaten again this year – another Vitality BATH HALF PB!

Discounted Early Bird Entries for next year’s Vitality Bath Half Marathon are now open – CLICK HERE TO ENTER.

Entries for the Family Fun Run will open shortly.

Congratulations again to all 13,000 finishers in this year’s half marathon and Family Fun run. We look forward to welcoming you back to Bath again next year.

Kind regards

Andrew Taylor

Virgin Money Giving, the easiest way to raise money for charity

The simplest way to collect money is online, through our official fundraising partner Virgin Money Giving. You can set up a fundraising page in minutes and because they are not-for-profit, more of the money you raise will go to your good cause.

Remember you can still take donations on your page. Some of your sponsors may have waited until after you completed the race, or even be inspired to donate again!
