| || Grab your place for the 2016 race |
As usual for this time of year we are almost at capacity for race day on Sunday 13 March 2016. If you still want to run then be sure to grab your entry or your charity place now. We love that so many of you return to run Bath year after year and we’re looking forward to seeing 15,000 runners take on their 13.1miles in March.
| || Family Fun Run |
Inspiring the next generation of Bath Halfers, our popular family fun run entries are now open. The Family Fun Run is open to entrants of all ages and abilities. It starts and finishes under the half marathon gantry in Great Pulteney Street, after the start of the half marathon. There is a free t-shirt for every entrant and a medal and goody bag to all finishers. Our official family fun run charity is the Bath Rugby Foundation
| || Get race fit |
If you’re pondering taking on our 13.1 mile challenge but could do with a little helping hand, we have just published our Vitality Bath Half training plans to help you get race fit by March. The plans have been produced by Martin Yelling, former elite athlete with a PhD in physical activity and health promotion and is the founder and co presenter of the UK’s number 1 running podcast ‘Marathon Talk’.
His 14-week training plans are designed for beginner, improver and advanced runners, so we hope you will find something that suits the stage you are right now.
