Vitality Bath Half Entrants' Newsletter - December 2015
Hello and welcome to the December edition of our Vitality Bath Half 2016 entrants’ newsletter,
We are delighted to have sold almost our general public entries for the 2016 race and expect that the remaining handful of places will be sold out in the next few days. Thank you for signing up to run, we’re delighted you’ll be joining us and 14,999 other runners on Sunday 13 March 2016.
We have a record number of reserved charity places for next year’s race, but many of our charities are also reporting their places are already filled.
As our attention now turns to preparing for race day we know that our runners are beginning to tun their attention to their half marathon training. With this in mind we have asked friend of the Bath Half, Martin Yelling, to prepare some training plans for our runners. Find one to suit your current running level on our website.
Bath Half runners raised a record sum of over £2.1 million at this year’s race. This makes the Bath Half one of the most important events in the British sporting calendar for over 100 local, regional, national and international charities and over 30 local community volunteer groups which raise invaluable income through the event.
Now that you have your own place, please consider raising money for one of our official race charities. Some of their details can be found in this newsletter, and some on our website.
All the best,
