BATHALF charity entries remaining
Public entries for the 2019 Bath Half Marathon sold out a few weeks ago, for the 20th successive year.
It’s not too late if you missed our public entries but still want to run on 17th March. Our race charity partners have reserved half marathon entries. But don’t delay, these are also selling fast and many of our charities have already sold out. Select from our list of list of charities and contact your chosen charity direct to see if they still have places left.
Corporate Challenge entries for business teams are also now sold out.
The BATHALF sells out to 15,000 runners every year and is the largest single day fundraising event in the southwest.

Beat heartbreak forever at the Bath Half
Join British Heart Foundation’s Champions’ team and beat heartbreak from the world’s biggest killers at the Bath Half Marathon.
When you run for us, you run to beat the world’s biggest killers. Conditions like heart diseases, stroke and vascular dementia. You run for the people you love. You run for mums, for dads, for brothers, for sisters, for friends, for loved ones. You run to fund research that helps to keep families together. One life saving breakthrough at a time.
Champions like you have helped get us this far – heart transplants, clot busting drugs, genetic testing and so much more. So join us, and fix your eyes on the finish line. Because together, we can beat heartbreak forever.
When you join our team we’ll make sure you’re supported all the way with:
- BHF Champions technical running top
- Personalised training plans
- The chance to attend our training weekend lead by world class running coaches
- Fundraising advice and help from our dedicated support team
- At the event – the best cheerers on route and an exclusive post-race reception.

Join Children’s Hospice South West
We are delighted that we have sold all our charity places, thank you everyone who chose to run for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), however if you have your own place and would like to run for a local charity then why not choose us. We have ‘Hannah the Runner’, a Bath running coach, leading a training run on 27th January at Odd Down Sports Ground for all our runners. As well as Hannah, we have a yoga instructor, a nutritionist and Running High’s very own Andrew Taylor coming along to help with any questions you many have. If any of you are interested in running for CHSW or would like to join our training run, please contact Emily Mitchard or Hollie Thorogood on 01275 866600 or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
‘Stepping away from the day to day duties of care is simply bliss. Being able to be Mum and Dad again is the best gift ever and we are so grateful.’
Children’s Hospice South West is delighted to have been chosen as the Official Local Charity for the 2019 Bath Half . This opportunity will allow Children’s Hospice South West to raise awareness of the fact that Charlton Farm is Bath’s local children’s hospice and help us support many more local families. We operate three hospices; Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in mid Cornwall. At all three hospices we care for families with children who are life limited, meaning that they will sadly die before they reach adulthood. The care we offer is wide ranging; respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care.
