| || Running for charity |
We are very proud that the BATHALF is the biggest single day fundraising event in the south west, and the top UK road race (outside of London) for average per head fundraising. We love that our runners choose not only to run 13.1 miles, but that they also manage to raise staggering amounts of money for amazing worthwhile causes too
The charities are a massive part of BATHALF race day, offering so much support to our runners and we are delighted that British Heart Foundation will be our Lead Charity in 2019, and Children’s Hospice South West will be our featured local charity
If you’re thinking of running the BATHALF for charity in 2019, please consider raising money for British Heart Foundation, or Children’s Hospice South West, or one our other official race charities
| || Corporate Challenge entries are now open! |
The Bath Half Marathon is inviting businesses to get competitive at the 2019 race, with entries now open for the Corporate Challenge. The Bath Half sells out every year but 500 places are reserved for entrants representing business teams that compete for the coveted men’s and women’s trophies
The Bath Half Corporate Challenge normally attracts around 40 to 50 business teams, representing companies across the business community from solicitors, architects, entertainment, engineering, telecoms, retail, to construction, and many other sectors. Business teams are encouraged to fundraise for one of our official local charities, or for a charity of their own choice. Business teams that took part in the 2017 Corporate Challenge raised £97,000 for a wide variety of charities and good causes
Businesses can pre-purchase their team entry (minimum of 5 entries, no maximum limit – subject to the overall limit of 500 places) and register their individual runners at a later date
Corporate team entries will include a fixed allocation of half marathon entries, plus access to the Corporate Challenge marquee in the heart of the Runners Village on race day.
