BATHALF Entrants newsletter - September
With the recent downpours and chilly mornings, it feels like Summer is just a distant memory and putting those trainers on to go outside is probably not an attractive thought! Take a look at our blog post below on ‘Getting Started’ for some inspiration. With just under SIX MONTHS until race day, planning is key.
We are experiencing our fastest ever selling rate and we anticipate that remaining general entries will be snapped up shortly. Please let friends, family or colleagues who are considering running know that we recommend they enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
All the best

The Bath Half Team
Forget mists and mellow fruitfulness, autumn is the season to kick off your Bath Half training. Hannah Lees, running coach and founder of ‘Hannah the Runner’ has some tips to get you started.
Whether it’s the chilly mornings, the shortening days, or the increase in rush hour traffic as the schools go back, you can’t deny that autumn is here. For some this means their thoughts are turning to bonfire night, conker fights and putting the heating on, but for others the change in season marks the beginning of Bath Half training.
If you’re planning to do your first Bath Half in 2020 or you’re returning to the race in search of a PB there are things you can get in place now to set yourself on the right track, and running is only part of it…

We offer half marathon entrants who notify us of cancellation of their entry on or before 10th December the choice of either a free Deferred Entry for the following year’s half marathon, or a £15 refund, or a £15 donation on your behalf to the Bath Half Marathon Fund
