Family Fun Run Info

The Family Fun Run, sponsored by Bath College, is open to entrants of all ages and abilities and you can enter today.

It starts and finishes on Great Pulteney Street, just after half marathon gets underway. There is a free t-shirt for every entrant plus a medal and goody bag to all finishers.

Before the race we will send you a race pack, which will include our race day guide, your t-shirt, race number and timing chip.

The course

You will be starting and finishing under the official Bath Half gantry in Great Pulteney Street. The Family Fun Run course itself is approximately 3/4 mile long and completely traffic-free.

You will run the first section of the half marathon course down Pulteney Road as far as North Parade Road, before turning back and running back again! Remember to keep aware of other runners and pace yourself, but above all have fun!

On the day

On race day Family Fun Run entrants are asked to assemble at the end of Edward Street next to the barriers before the main half marathon start at 11.00am (you’ll be going through the Turnstile Gate out of the Runners Village – here is a map of the Runners Village, including the Family Fun Run assembly point).

You’ll be able to watch the Half Marathon start from here before being walked to the Family Fun Run start by marshals.

Remember that Family Fun Run children under the age of 11 years must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult.

Parents of unaccompanied older children must ensure their children are accompanied to the start area and meet at the family fun run exit in the Runners’ Village. Please allow plenty of time to make your way round to the Family Fun Run Exit, remembering that the roadway in Great Pulteney Street is closed to pedestrians.

Cupped water will be provided after the finish, plus a free medal and goody bag to all finishers.
