Many people believe poverty in Africa is inevitable. We don’t.

Why run for Send a Cow?
Your £200 sponsorship could provide three families with lifesaving hygiene training and skills, as part of Send a Cow’s response to coronavirus in rural Africa. Our training equips families with the knowledge and skills to: build a “tip tap” to help wash their hands safely, harvest rainwater to use during the dry months and how to build a simple clean latrine. And so that when this crisis is over, they will be in a strong and healthy position to build their own futures from the land.

Poverty breaks things: families, friendships, dreams, self-esteem.
Every day families in rural Africa face poverty that is extreme, cruel and worst of all – unnecessary.
But rural Africa is rich with opportunity and where there is land, there is hope.
