We are a registered charity based in North Dorset  that aim to raise awareness of breast cancer in women and men and teach how to check your breasts to help early detection

Not only is our aim to promote awareness but also to support women, men and their families who have been or are going through treatment. We can help financially with the added costs of going for treatment and appointments and also for costs of wigs, mastectomy bras etc.

Above all else we can help with emotional support and mental wellbeing by paying for therapies and counselling if anyone should need it. Our support group also runs once a month at Shaftesbury youth club 11 till 1 on the 3rd Saturday.

We also have a deep will to empower our breast cancer warriors by helping them feel beautiful once again, we can help by paying for beauty treatments such as semi-permanent eyebrows as chemotherapy can leave ladies without and also things like tattoos over scars from surgery etc. Our financial help currently spans the SP7, SP8 and SP3 areas and we hope to grow and help further afield in the future.

Another way we help is by getting chemotherapy care packages out to our local hospitals to help ladies starting out on their treatment journey, we aim to ensure every person going through the breast cancer unit to be able to receive one of these amazing, thoughtful bags.

We launched Boobs back in 2014 in memory of our beautiful friend Claire who lost her battle to Breast Cancer at the age of 35 and this is her legacy as she showed us what true courage, strength and beauty is.
